my new plants

Here is the first of the season's veggies! Tomato, cabbage, cauliflower.
This is a shot of the garden-post summer. After all the old plants have been taken out and everything weeded (mostly) and ready to plant. Kinda boring and plain now, but give it a few weeks :) You can barely see the different plots that I have-this pic only shows a few of them, though.
I like to use my neighbor's red barn as somewhat of a reference when I take pics of the garden. It really shows how things are progressing to have it as a constant backdrop. (hope he does not mind)

Oct 8th and you are just planting your garden!!! Ours has been put to rest for the season. We are to get a freeze tonight! I do love fall in the mid-west, but winter stinks :)
